The second anniversary of South East Asian Tsunami is observed in different nations in different ways. A real time drill organized to aware the people about the danger of tsunami. Sri Lanka declared national safety day. Survivor and mourners across the whole region lit candles, visited graves and held moment of silence.

The Asian Tsunami was   worst ever natural calamity ever faced by us in recent times. Lots of help was assured by the whole world but for those who lost their every thing in the Tsunami it was very little. People are living in temporary houses permanent houses remains a dream for many. Although many houses are built but the affected people, mainly fisherman, are not willing to go in, due to distance from the sea. Early Warning System is still not fully deployed.
